Starting New At Golf!

S.N.A.G.® was developed and created as an easier way to get new golfers into the game. With two over-sized plastic clubs and a unique ball specifically designed to work with S.N.A.G® clubs, it's an easy, stress-free way to learn the basics of golf.

Learn how to "manage" the course as you play, by using all parts of the golf swing, including full swings, and building pitching, chipping and putting skills. No need for you to buy new shoes, new clothes, or fancy clubs - just come, try it, and have fun!

Built as a new-to-golf learning facility for all ages, the Mini-Course was built with S.N.A.G® equipment in mind. The Mini-Course at Cattail Creek is unlike any other in the country, and provides the perfect gateway into the game.

 Course Information

• The Mini-Course has 9 holes, each with their own dedicated tee box and green. 
• Average amount of time it takes to play all 9 holes is approximately 45 minutes.
  • If you and your group need more time to play a hole, we encourage you to allow others to play through. 
• The Mini-Course at Cattail Creek is a non-metal spike facility.

Course Amenities

• There is a water jug station at the start of Hole 5.

Pro Shop

• The Pro Shop has a selection of golf apparel, golf equipment, and snacks and drinks. Swing in at the end of the round for a cool drink or to check out the new merchandise!

So what's next? 

Build your skills on the driving range!

You've practiced on the Mini-Course with S.N.A.G® clubs, now take those new skills to regulation golf equipment and practice on the driving range.

You can borrow a couple of clubs for FREE at Cattail Creek, just ask at the Pro Shop. Spend some time on the range and get comfortable with the new equipment and your new skills.

Play 3 holes!

After you've practiced the four main strokes of golf on the Mini-Course and the range, take those skills for a test drive!

At Cattail Creek, we offer a special 3-Hole Rate, which allows you to get out on the course and give it a shot, without having to commit to playing all 9 holes. 

A couple of tips:

There are 4 tee areas: the yellow, red, white and blue for you to try. Begin at the forward yellow tees and work your way back until you find the tee area that allows you to have the most fun without any stress.

Feel free to move the ball if the ball lands in a tough spot. You are always welcome to move the ball to the front of the fairway or the front of the green if you're stuck.

Play all 9 holes on Cattail Creek!

You've played 3 holes of golf and had a great time and great success. Now, extend that knowledge and skill to all 9 holes. Cattail Creek is a 9 Hole, Par 3 course with a more laid-back atmosphere. Rest assured that you won't be the only one on the course who is learning!

You are well on your way to enjoying the game of golf for many years to come. Once you've got the hang of playing at Cattail Creek, look into playing 9 or 18 holes over at The Olde Course across the street.
